✓ CPSC FileCheck

Terms of use

A file preflight, not a compliance sign-off.

Last updated August 18, 2026

Who operates FileCheck

CPSC FileCheck is operated by Txapela Publishing LLC. These terms govern your use of the FileCheck website and browser-based CSV preflight tool.

What the tool does

FileCheck performs limited, automated checks on selected CSV structure and selected Product Registry fields. It may identify formatting or logical issues and make narrow formatting repairs in an exported working CSV.

What the tool does not do

FileCheck does not provide legal advice, regulatory advice, customs brokerage, testing services, product classification, certification, a determination that a product requires or does not require a certificate, or a guarantee that a file or product will be accepted by CPSC, CBP, a broker, a laboratory, or any other party.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and final review of your data and for every submission you make. Do not rely on FileCheck as your sole compliance control. Review the current CPSC materials, your actual source records, and qualified professional guidance where appropriate before submitting a file.

Paid exports

FileCheck may offer a one-time paid unlock for download of a corrected working CSV. Payment is processed by Stripe. The unlock applies to the CSV retained in your current browser session; FileCheck does not retain a copy of the CSV. Because the export is made available immediately after payment, charges are generally final except where required by applicable law.

Availability and limits

The tool is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or improve features, checks, and documentation as CPSC guidance or product needs evolve. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Txapela Publishing LLC disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the tool.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the website, bypass access controls, reverse engineer the application, or use it to process data you are not authorized to handle.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
